Reading and offline use
No. You can use the core reader, save local bookmarks and notes, and create a reading plan without signing in.
Bundled Quran text and translations remain available. Supported tafsir can be downloaded in advance, and the optional page-image mushaf has its own download. Audio recitation currently streams and needs a connection.
Yes. Mark an ayah as your last-read location and use it to return to the same point or begin a Journey plan from there.
Yes. Reader settings include theme, Arabic font, font sizes, translation choices, transliteration, and supported display preferences.
Tafsir, audio, and saved items
Supported sources include Tafsir Kementerian Agama RI in Indonesian and Tafsir Ibn Kathir in Arabic and English from Quran.com datasets.
The audio player offers Mishary Rashid Alafasy, Ahmed ibn Ali al-Ajamy, Mahmoud Khalil Al-Husary, Mohamed Siddiq El-Minshawi, Muhammad Ayyoub, and Muhammad Jibreel.
Yes. Each has its own categories. Categories can be created, renamed, reordered, and used to move saved entries.
Yes. Notes and bookmarks retain the relevant verse reference so you can navigate back to the reader.
Data, accounts, and support
Reading data is stored on your device. If you choose to sign in when optional account sync is available, supported data can also be sent to Firebase Firestore for account sync.
The app includes Firebase Authentication, Analytics, Crashlytics, Remote Config, and Firestore for supported optional sync. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Yes. Journey offers recent-range, custom-range, and clear-all controls. You can also choose a history retention period.
